Aerelink acquired by Rapid Technologies group of companies
Rapid Technologies’ Group Managing Director, Mark Stevens, has acquired the ten year old business of Aerelink Limited, a company specialising in the supply, installation, maintenance and delivery of highly optimised low latency wireless telecommunication network solutions and services.
Steve Swift, the former Managing Director of Aerelink, who is retiring from the industry to take up new challenges, said “Rapid are a great fit to carry on the legacy work that Aerelink has pioneered over the past ten years. I am sure that Aerelink’s enviable customer list (which includes many County Councils and NHS Trusts) will benefit hugely from the wide range of new and existing services that will be on offer to them from the Rapid team. I know that Rapid have the right blend of in-house wireless expertise to support Aerelink’s customers and therefore feel confident that they will be in safe hands with Rapid”.
Rapid, in addition to its own stockholding, has also acquired Aerelink’s comprehensive stock of wireless spares in order that it can continue to support Aerelink’s Maintenance Agreements.
